In the past week I attended a truly interesting event at the Australian Embassy. It was a coming together of the Endeavour scholarship program receipients along with scientists, scholars and Embassy officials. Great minds were present, most notably Brian Schmidt the laureate of The Nobel Prize in Physics. His talk was fascinating and gave us an excellent outline of the challenges our world will face in the near future. I was there mainly to take photos but I learned tons too.
